This will take you through the life of our beloved model. :)
Willow is a Miniature longhaired dachshund. She is red with a black overlay. Some people would call her a toy dachshund because she weighs only 5 pounds, and her breed should weigh about 9 pounds.
Willow's parents are Mo, a male, black and tan, longhaired mini dachshund, who weighed about 7 pounds. Her mom is Hershey, a shorthair Chocolate mini dachshund who also weighed about 7 pounds.
We brought Willow home on her 8 week birthday. Since then she has lived in our home, modeling for pictures and barking at strangers. She loves to do zoomies, and stand like a meercat. And she loves to eat people food.
Willow needs an eye surgery, which you can see in her first baby picture. This surgery costs about $300 to $400. Our goal with this site is to help raise money for her surgery. That is why we are selling these hand crafted scarves and boas, We are not asking for handouts, but please support Willow by buying a scarf.
Willow is currently just over 1 year old. She is registered AKC and wants to share her great looks, and loving personality. She is looking for an AKC registered Longhaired, Mini dachshund male to have puppies with. She prefers a red, or english cream male who weighs between 5 and 6 pounds. Any bigger could harm her. Willow is willing to pay a stud fee, or give up second pick of the litter. (She wants first pick, as she was an only child. In the case that she only has one puppy a fee will be payed.) Also, don't let her little eye problem scare you, it is not heredetary, just a mutation in her DNA, there is no record of it in her past, and will not necesarily show up again.
Thanks for looking at our site, hopefully her pictures will make you fall in love, a want to buy a scarf, Willow really wants her surgery.
In the first first picture, the dog on the right is Mo, Willow's father, a black and tan mini, 7 pound doxie, and on the right is Jack, an English cream mini doxie, one of Mo's sons, making him Willow's half brother. They are both wearing one of our crocheted scarves. In the second picture is Nestle, Willows mother, as a puppy. Full grown she weighs 7 pounds. She is a dark chocolate mini doxie.
